Over Night Barbacoa

Prepare this one before bed and by lunch time you'll be ready for street tacos.

Prep: 15 mins

Cook: Overnight

Hardware: Cast iron, Crock Pot

Ingredients

• 3.25 lbs - boneless chuck roast
• 0.5 cup - low sodium book broth
• 1 tsp - salt
• 1 tbs - chili powder
• 1 tsp - garlic powder
• 1 tsp - onion powder
• 1 tsp - cumin
• 1 tsp - paprika
• 1 tsp - black pepper

Steps

1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl

2. Set cast iron to high, sear top and bottom for 3 minutes a side

3. Criss cross inch deep slices over top of meat

4. Place meat in crock pot, covering the top with seasoning

5. Set to high, cover and cook for 10 hours
