St. Patrick's Day in Munich
On Sunday, there was the usual St. Patrick's day parade, walking from Giselastraße (more or less) towards Odeonsplatz. Familiar folks, from the people walking in the parade to the news camera guy. It was lively, the weather wasn't complete shite, so that helped, too. Music and dance on stage, Guinness in unlimited quantities, you know, the regular
It's actually quite interesting how prominent, compared to other cities in Germany and several capitals I know people from, this event is. Hearing English for the entire day in the center of the city is also an interesting change of scenery
If you were around, you might have seen me, bumped into me, or perhaps even stepped on my toes, to which I have no objections, we were all having a good time, and my shoes handled it alright, haha
