Making a custom fabric anime inspired BJD β Materials I used to make this custom doll's head and body, a thin piece of flexible wire for the spine, many layers of masking tape and tight yarn and thread strings, and fabric glue. I'll probably remake the head too tbh, but I'll just sketch out the head in my artstyle to look more gender-neutral too. Fingers crossed with my new head looking good with using tinfoil, masking tape, and I'll also use my previous head to help me make the new head theβ¦

Flower monster girl doll concept sketch (Next Doll I'll make after the first one) β Plans for this one: Many shades/patterns of orange, yellow and white fabrics for this next custom farbic doll I'll make. I'll use tinfoil to make the head more solid, since I was going to make vinyl-faced dolls, but I think using tinfoil for the doll's skull and then sew the tinfoil with the fabric I pick and use. (I could use tape over the tinfoil to, just in case.) I'll also use black lace trims for the neck...

Custom Fabric Doll wip 5 β Sewing faux fur on the body currently. After I give the body faux fur, then I'll add a weft from the front of the face, mainly to copy the sketch I made. I hope to add the ears too at some point, somehow. Nuts, I should've thought this part through. Oh well.

Custom Fabric Doll wip 4 β Finished the body and now I'm working on adding the fur wefts as well too, I'll hopefully keep in mind to keep the long fur away from my scissors as well too.

Custom Fabric Doll wip 3 β Started adding the fur on the back, and then I'll add some faux fur on the front to add some negative space. I feel like I'm doing this wrong, but this is my first fabric made doll, so it won't be perfect. I'll add the fabric face after I'm done with the body, arms and legs, and maybe a tail, but I'm not sure of I'll have enough faux fur for the tail.

Custom Fabric Doll wip 2 β I'm starting on the head currently, I'm thinking of adding the faux fur on each part I think. And yeah.

Custom fabric-faced doll wip 1 β I wanted to make my own plush toy, mainly a fabric faced plush doll, it'll take a while for me to make the part for it, I'm starting on the head first.
