Long time no see

I am engaged to be married on Saturday. Oh Lord how things have changed since my last postings here. I love my fiancée and I can't wait to be hers!!! She is absolutely lovely, and I love to kiss her on the forehead and cook for her and hear about her day and plan for the future. I like her family, she likes mine, and we are facing the arena together, come hell or high water.

I've started pursuing another field of study in hopes of a career in audiology. I did not get into the program I applied for, and a classmate with worse grades did. C'est la vie. All I can do is apply again, and apply widely. This summer I will look for observation opportunities, research fellowships, and other things to boost my resume. Working as a bookseller is OK, but I just need more money. I hope the admission councils will be merciful and will let me into a better career. If this doesn't work out, I am unsure where I will go next and I am very concerned about my prospects.

I am so angry at the way the economy is, and I am so angry still at my former employers. My cross to bear is to let this all go. It will take a while.

But more immediately, είμαι ευτυχισμένος. Glory to God for all things!
