Today is the 9th of February 2021.
I heard that in some countries, today is National Pizza Day. I don't think I live in one of those countries. It's also Saint Teilo's feast day.
The whole idea of named days is a bit silly. It's not like there is an official registry. I think anyone can proclaim a day of observance for anything - or a month, or a year. Allow me to demonstrate:
I hereby declare it is International Pizza Epoch. The epoch began on 1st January 1970, and will continue until they run out of integers, or until pizza is no longer popular, whichever comes sooner.
Celebrate with me by making some pizza, and let the celebration continue tomorrow!
Although actually, we're not having pizza tonight, so I guess the remark is over.
