On Twitter I see a lot of workshops advertised, usually around either general themes (Get Better At Poetry), or somewhat specific (e.g. epistolary poems). Yesterday I saw a link to a workshop that made me wish I was in NYC:

There is an element of my work that deals with unknown & unrequired desire. Going through old copies of my journals, I had a lot of crushes when I was younger. And why not? They're easy. They're cheap. There's never an actual future to worry about, and no need to work on the present.
