Thanks to balloon's Japanese page, I found out about Alhena and decided to install it. I'm really looking forward to enjoying it now that it's in "a pretty good place." Thank you so much!

@balloon I read your comments on the translated HTTP page. Alhena is "internationalized" so if someone copied the project's existing MessagesBundle.properties to a new file called MessagesBundle_ja.properties, they could easily create a Japanese translation for all menus and elements in the app.
By the way, if anyone should do this for Japanese (or any other language), I would happily make it part of the official Alhena releases.

I committed the new properties file and it's available to anyone that builds from source. I can view the translations by setting the environment variable ALHENA_LOCALE=ja-JP before launching, I found 22 missing strings and one small issue.
I updated the code and the default MessagesBundle.properties with the new entries and pushed my changes. The new key value pairs are at the bottom of the file. If you could provide translations for those 22 strings, I'd really appreciate it.
The one issue: I think (for now), the value for key "commandsHeading" needs to be changed so that the commands listed in the string remain in English (I put a comment in the properties file). Changing that requires a bit of thought and I don't want to break anything.
Anyway, it looks fantastic. Hopefully, it will inspire more translations.

I'm not 100% on this but the "commandsHeading" key should show English text in the list items. That list displays what to type into the address bar to access a particular command. For example, you type "alhena:pagecache" to access the "pagecache" command. Typing "alhena:" by itself brings you to the page with the "commandsHeading" translation if you want to see what I mean.
I think it should probably look like...

The only other thing I see is the Font and Color choosers (from the same author) don't offer Japanese translations. Those components do support other languages though so it's probably possible to get them updated if you wanted to do so.

Yeah. It's something that requires a code change (which I'll probably get to after things calm down around here). In the meantime, it's not functionality that likely gets a lot of use. I'll leave it as is until I can sort it out.

@balloon I think I have the Commands issue addressed. It required a code change and new entries in MessagesBundle.properties. I believe I was able to deduce the translations for most of them...
