I'm almost there. I have eternal-september, and I am checking another for binaries. Driven brain to mush today. I have mylar3 speaking to an indexer and throwing nzbs to sabnzbd. Sabnzbd recognises those and starts to pull them off a server. Except it doesn't, it just goes into a "please wait xyz seconds loop".

I put the same settings into Pan in my desktop and the nzb file happily triggers a download.

yeah! I started browsing the tildeverse news (was never on Usenet before, didn't really understand it, not gonna lie), then made an account on eternal-september.

I really like the no-bullshit medium. Read the thing, say something about the thing. I quite dislike how most conversations in active groups devolve into personal attacks among the regulars... So I already unsubscribed from some (at first sight interesting) groups. I want less negativity in my life these days.

If you don't know them, check out the tildeverse newsgroups, they are quite nice. · 7 months ago
