There was talk about non-tech content on gemini. Back.... A while ago now, I was involved with a site on Tor and we created a cookbook. Users came together and put in a range of regional recipes relevant to them which they felt were worth sharing. Maybe a gemini equivalent could be created? BB already has a cooking subspace, it could start there perhaps.

Phone/laptop into RPi(home) irc client in tmux session irc server or Phone/laptop (home and roaming) tilde (internet) into RPi (home) irc client in tmux session irc server My Pi reaches out to the tilde server, the tilde becomes the meeting point. All this because there are no open ports on my router(CGNAT sucks).I now have a persistent SSH tunnel doing all the work. I can get to my LAN from wherever.

Random update. Totally not my blog. Benzo taper: I have started dissolving my benzos in alcohol (small amount). I can then dilute it and portion out the tiny amount I am tapering on far more successfully than trying to chop tiny 5mm tablets and weighing the crumbs. It's more consistent! Paper Planner: I am happy in paper planner land. My diary is checked daily. I track what I need. It's a bit hybrid. I was tracking food, but I am sticking with an online service for that. Miles/distance, exercise type, frequency is on paper. Benzo taper and mood is on paper. As is addressbook, contacts, dates, times, appointments etc etc.

Trying to work out what else to get rid of to lower, or lessen, my digital footprint. Discord(certainly as I barely use it), no active google(will close eventually, it kind of sits there), no meta/insta/etc, no apple. It's all "little services" like traders, forums, the occasional app (like food and sport trackers). Things like goodreads/bookwyrm/etc are vanity services IMHO "I post my books for community engagement and not as a flex, no really...". Don't have that either. Suggestions? Or things that might've been missed?
