I am learning to appreciate my 'espresso' a little more. The shorter coffee is lovely, but if I just "knock it back" I have to order more and then get hit my too much caffeine. Little sips is all it takes. Take. Your. Time.

I just like the rich creamy texture you (can) get on short drinks like that. Too much water ruins the mouth feel. Now, an espresso in 16fl oz.... 🤣 · 9 months ago

I always thought it was called 'espresso' because it was *brewed* quickly, rather than intended to be consumed quickly. That said, if you wait until the crema (light brown froth) disappears, it'll taste just a little bit more bitter. I say: enjoy the drink. Most of us need to take more time to do things like that. · 9 months ago

the name espresso means very fast - this is why you should drink the espresso as fast as possible (one sip if you can) and be on your way. · 9 months ago
