its back, was traveling all week and could only debug this now.

My capsule is getting hit by a ton of crawlers, usually AI crawlers hitting Gemini space via Gemini-to-HTTP proxies like portal.mozz.us. I like these portals and don't want to cut off access.

Handling traffic shouldn't be a big deal. But these get stuck in my Gemipedia and NewsWaffle CGIs, infinitely crawling. They send a ton of requests, + don't properly close connections.

Either in Jetforce, or my CGI code, there are bugs where CGI processes will hang and not get cleaned up. This leads to OOM issuesas hundreds of zombie CGI processes stack up, and swap gets thrashed. Thinking about some fixes. 🤔 · 1 month ago
